Melmo to Copious

i remember when “melmo” meant “elmo.”  and “oker” meant “yogurt.”  and “TB” meant “TV.”

i remember all of the toddler talk from my kids that only i could discern.

So, when i came in from outside today and my oldest had made lunch for her and her sister. and served it.

then look at me and said, “I made all the servings of mac and cheese in the box, so we both got a ‘copious’ amount”….. I was the one looking around for an interpreter.

i hate it when my children use words that i don’t know. especially when they are correct. i mean, i know it’s correct because i looked it up.

copious: “an old english word meaning plentiful; abundant.”

the end.
